These Shells come in many sizes here at The Earth's Cauldron.
These Abalone Shells are traditional incense burning vessels of the Native Peoples of the Americas (and many other cultures).
Perfect for burning loose sage, cedar, woods and resins. Also use the Abalone Shell to hold your smudge stick in when the stick is lit, but you are not holding it, and to help "tap out" loose burnt ends.
If you are using charcoal tablets, you will need to put at least 1" of sand in the bottom of the shell to keep the shell from burning you or the surface it is sitting on or from cracking and breaking.
As with all incense burning vessels, please use caution and keep away from children and pets. A good incense burning experience is a safe incense burning experience.
